With the 2018 Directors Circle Festival Of Shorts scheduled to open, regretfully we still have a considerable number of films selected for our 2018 Festival that still have not yet been provided by the Filmmakers.
I am writing to let you know that due to this fact, and we wanted to give every single Filmmaker the opportunity to have his/her film screened in our Festival this year, that we have decided to postpone our event for a short period in an attempt to collect as many of the outstanding films as possible before we launch.
Please keep in mind that you will receive an email other than this one, an email that will specifically request your film file if your film is among those that we still need.
If you DO NOT receive another email from me requesting your film file, that means that we already have your film file and you need not worry or concern yourself.
Our new Festival dates will be Thursday, November 29th through Saturday, December 8th, 2018.
We are very sorry for this delay and postponement that we felt was unavoidable, and we apologize for this to every Filmmaker who turned in their film to us on time, though we still felt that it was only right to give all Filmmakers in our Festival the same consideration.
